3 Day 2 Night Cruise On HaLong Bay

The bucket list activity in Vietnam is a cruise through Halong Bay - so we knew we needed to do it too! Most cruise ships offer 2 day 1 night packages, or 3 day 2 night packages and we opted for the longer cruise because it meant we would get to explore some of the islands and felt a little more like a true vacation.

On the morning of our cruise, we had a private car transfer that picked us up in Hanoi and drove us directly to the Heritage Bay Cruise ship office. The drive was about 2.5 hours, and we stopped once at a nice roadside rest stop for snacks and the restroom.

Once we got to the cruise office we checked in and then waited about 30 minutes before they called our names and we boarded a small boat that transported us father out into the bay were we boarded our Cruise Ship!

Our ship was so nice!!! From the moment we stepped on board I truly felt like I was on a luxury ship. The staff were incredibly kind and everything was spotless. We were given an itinerary that listed out meal times and excursion options! We got to kayak in the bay, hang out at a private beach, ride bikes on Cat Ba Island and be wined and dined with incredible food at every meal.

I think my favorite part was just the constant views of the bay. From the top deck to our own personal balcony, it was such a treat to get to spend 3 days in such a beautiful place.

If you find yourself in Vietnam, Im sure you don’t need convincing but I do hope you get to experience the beauty of Halong Bay in some way! You won’t regret it.
